SAPDFA Instructors Certification.
Registration as a certified Pole Fitness Instructor with The South African Pole Dance Fitness Association.
Your course material as well as your exam papers will be mailed to you. You complete your exam in your own time and mail back to me for scoring.
You have the option to come for a one hour practical on spotting students, but this is not compulsory if you don't reside in the area, as everything is covered and explained in detail in your course material, as well as you will be examined on it in your exam papers.
You have to do 10 hours of teaching at either Pole Fitness Roodepoort or at another studio with a qualified teacher shadowing you. Your hours must be signed off by a qualified teacher and submitted to me.
You must also submit a video where you are teaching an entire class. The video should cover warming up, teaching, spotting al the required moves in your course material and cooling down. After submitting your video you will be scored on your teaching skills.
Your theoretical exam and your video will both count as 50% of your total score.
You have to have a total score of 80% to pass.
There is no time limit and the course can be done in your own time.
